Description:

This position is under the direct supervision of the Administrator. The individual in this position will be expected to promote our facility within the community through telephone or in-person visits, give facility tours and explain the amenities and benefits of the facility. Duties also include ensuring all resident have completed the appropriate paperwork and are qualifies to reside in this community. This position processes all applications and background screenings for resident admission and oversees the securing of service subsidies.

Duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Maintain an accurate daily census and distribute to necessary departments.

· Maintain the admission/discharge log.

· Maintain the status of vacant units.

· Maintain the current resident list.

· Update the client system when residents move in or out of the facility.

· Oversee complete customization and rollout of the Eldermark software.

· Promptly respond to telephone and web inquiries about the facility.

· Make calls to prospective residents based on leads from marketing events.

· Give facility tours as scheduled or as necessary with walk-ins.

· Ensure adequate number of pre-admission packers, final admission packets and resident handbooks are available.

· Design print ads, mailers, flyers, etc. as needed and coordinate advertising with various media outlets.

· Monitor quantities of brochures, flyers and collateral and re-order as needed.

· Organize, plan and attend marketing functions inside the facility as well as outside in the community, some of which may be after normal business hours.

· Conduct outreach activities with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, doctors’ offices, aging agencies, senior living centers, with the facility and in the community to ensure full occupancy.

· Update marketing reports and send to the Portfolio Manager weekly as scheduled.

· Process pre-admission and final admission paperwork with residents/families and ensure correctness and completeness of paperwork.

· Initially screen prospective residents for appropriate placement.

· Ensure that all potential residents have been assessed by the administrator or resident care director prior to admission.

· Understand the subsidy programs available to our residents and ensure that all necessary filing has been done and approved before residents’ move-in. Complete the admissions form and attach face sheet and share with all relevant parties including the business office and place on waiting list. Work with prospective resident, POA, family and CARES to help establish an initial assessment date. For veteran’s Administration prospective residents, seek an alternate subsidy while the resident’s Aid & Attendance is processed.

· Coordinate all move-ins with all departments.

· Collaborate with the administrator and resident care director in assigning new residents to seats in the dining room.

· Assist with creation and implementation of the facility marketing plan including social media marketing.

· Develop quarterly marketing plans and submit to the administrator for approval.

· Analyze marketing lead data quarterly and report to the administrator.

· Write and submit a monthly marketing report to the administrator on a timely basis.

· Maintain and update the facility’s website and social media accounts.

· Works with various governmental agencies, housing authorities, and the public as appropriate.

· Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Completion of two (2) years of college courses.

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a related field is preferred.

Must have experience with Social Media Marketing.

Proven experience marketing for an Assisted Living Facility strongly desired.

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and outside of job description as needed.

· Able to work independently, multitask, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, be detailed oriented, effective at problem solving and follow-up.

· Strong verbal, written, communication and people skills.

· Able to speak in front of a crowd at meetings and orientation.

· A combination of experience, education and training would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities to qualify.

· Florida Class “E” driver’s license and be insurable by PCHAs liability and fleet insurance carrier.

QUALIFICATION PROCEDURES
