SIRATA MARKETING MANAGER — JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sirata Beach Resort, St. Pete Beach, is seeking a Marketing Manager to assist the Director of Marketing (DOM) in all resort marketing driven programs. In addition to marketing support, this individual will be directly responsible for all property social media efforts, including paid and organic content as well as promotions. Must be a self-starter, motivated, enthusiastic and have a passion for the hospitality industry.

In addition to leading Social Media efforts, this associate will also have the responsibility in the following areas:

SOCIAL MEDIA

In concert with DOM develop and implement property-wide social media strategic plan. Responsibilities including daily posts, content generation, partnerships, imagery, influencer marketing, paid media and everything related to making the Sirata Beach Resort a dynamic marketing tool to increase awareness, drive revenues and respond to guest comments and inquiries.

FOOD & BEVERAGE MARKETING

  • Directly responsible for all Food & Beverage Marketing, including:
  • Creation and implementation of events to drive revenues and awareness to outlets
  • Ongoing menu and content updates
  • Manage F&B partnerships where appropriate
  • Creation and development of marketing materials to generate awareness of F&B outlets.

MARKETING PLAN

Development of annual marketing plans and budget for Sirata Beach Resort and on-site Food & Beverage outlets. This plan includes website and E-Commerce projects, editorial content development, writing, and web site marketing and updates.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Organize and maintain Sirata photo library

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Partner with outside public relations agency to assist with agency initiatives and activities as determined by DOM.

  • Research and respond to press questions and photo requests
  • Respond/fulfill ongoing requests for travel writer fam visits
  • Respond to requests for press inquiries, article opportunities, etc.
  • Meet travel writers and provide property tours
  • Host ongoing on-site fam events

PHOTOSHOOTS/PROMOTIONAL MEDIA

  • Responsible for all photo and video shoots on property

COLLATERAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Create, review, provide support and produce print/digital marketing collateral
  • Resort activity brochure
  • Rack cards/check presenters
  • Posters
  • Menu/F&B collateral assistance as needed
  • Additional collateral as needed

EVENT PLANNING

  • Plan ongoing resort events as directed by DOM.

CHARITABLE DONATIONS

  • Field all donation requests
  • Work with applicable staff to determine which requests should be fulfilled
  • Request and ensure gift certificates are sent

MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS

Ongoing projects as directed by DOM.
