Description
The Marketing Manager, PR & Events is an integral member of the team that manages experiential marketing events and integrations to help drive awareness and consideration of the brand. This position manages day-to-today project implementation and in-person execution of store Grand Openings throughout the US, Community Events and other local activations. This position helps manage the PR strategy for the Ashley brands in partnership with AFI counterparts and focuses on monitoring and tracking Positive/Negative sentiment and earned media impressions. Manages execution of internal events (Domination, Licensee Vegas Meetings.) This involves collaboration across the organization and with outside vendors to ensure communications are on strategy.
Primary Job Functions
- Manages and executes store Grand Openings across the US, and other event-focused activations.
- Manages the execution of experiential marketing consisting of Pandora Events, Local Community Events (Gasparilla Children’s Parade), Product Launch Events, PR events.
- Helps develop overall experiential marketing strategy based on customer insights, business needs, and trends to drive brand awareness and consideration.
- Manages the development and implementation of experiential marketing consisting of Pandora Events, Local Community Events (Gasparilla Children’s Parade), Product Launch Events, PR events.
- Helps develop and implement the Hope To Dream Marketing and Donation Strategy. Building Campaigns to support Phase 1 Awareness and Phase 2 Donation Solicitation. Manages development of H2D anniversary events.
- Manages vendor and partnership relationships, working closely to meet co-op KPIs through custom-curated programs.
- Collaborates with cross-functional partners to development segmented content to drive a more 1-to-1 relationship with existing customers and prospects.
- Provides overall project management and coordination of event marketing projects and integrations.
- Assists in the development of internal events (i.e Las Vegas 75th Celebration, Domination, Licensee Vegas Meeting)

Job Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience, Required
Experience:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in event marketing Required.
- Brand experience preferred
