Marketing, PR and Social Media Support Specialist
This is a full time, 40 hour per week job with benefits. Position is in direct support of a successful and growing national nonprofit organization that serves combat-wounded veterans, headquartered in Brandon, Florida. Applicant will be required to perform work in a modern, secure and comfortable office environment and will have direct access to the CEO and other senior employees within the organization.
Successful applicants will possess the following attributes and skillsets:
- 4 year college degree, with an emphasis on Marketing and PR
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the Marketing / PR / SM arena
- Superior work ethic
- Writing, editing and producing marketing materials
- Proficiency in the following programs, applications and platforms: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, graphic arts and design software
- Manages social media and content creation in support of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn social media platforms
- Video editing and repurposing of electronic media desired
- Develops and implements marketing strategies and concepts
- Produces press releases and other written communications to media and clients
- Strong interpersonal verbal as well as written skills
- Performs well in all disciplines, especially when unsupervised
- Takes the initiative often
- Great attitude, positive outlook, pleasant to work with and shows up on-time ready to accomplish the mission, every day
- Good conversationalist; excels in developing and improving existing relationships with key individuals within an established and vibrant network of supporters and organizational partners
Minimum of two references are required along with a current resume that highlights your most resent work experience.
Salary range $32-38K plus benefits, commensurate with experience and demonstrated potential. Flexible work schedule.
