POSITION TITLE: Marketing Support Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Director of Tourism
EXEMPT OR NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt
PERCENTAGE OF FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT: 100%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 25 lbs
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The position exists to strategically assist the marketing team to ensure yearly objectives are supported. Primary responsibilities include updating digital content on partner platforms, running monthly reports, and ensuring quality control over published reviews. Coordinating with other departments, partners, advertisers and key suppliers, ensuring an organized, responsive, cohesive strategy for marketing communications and deliverables.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Bi-Monthly reporting on customer trends, sentiments and identification of improvement strategies to be shared within CMA.
- Well thought out and well written responses for reviews across all platforms.
- Tracking and handling of deadlines, with prompt responses on deliverables.
- Guest facing duties will include on-site and occasional offsite support of tours for VIPs and guests of Marketing and Media.
- Working closely with Marketing Activation Coordinator to confirm organization within budgetary restrictions on Marketing events.
- Work within the Hubspot CRM, Basecamp and KMIT (POS, Reporting). Learning other platforms as needed.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and contacts in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees, guests and partners.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with the employee handbook, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the department
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
- Comply with CMA standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
- Other duties as assigned by marketing team.
- Cross train into other areas as needed
EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years proven experience in account coordination or in other administrative positions
- Marketing experience or degree required
- Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff to create a results-driven, team oriented environment.
- Must be a self-starting individual with a clear set of priorities but with the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances.
