Full Job Description
The Licursi Group, a 15-year-old full-stack marketing agency with a strong emphasis on consumer goods and influencer marketing, is looking for a media relations lead to service a range of B2C clients. It’s a perfect opportunity for an independent contractor who wants a full-time book of work at a stable, growing agency.
The Media Relations Lead is involved in all aspects of the development and implementation of our clients’ media based communication strategies. This role is the lead for media relations across brand building, event-driven and thought-leadership efforts, and works closely with our social media team and account leadership.
Employment Status
1099-based independent contractor, approximately 35 hours per week
Knowledge and Skills Required
· Strong relationships with media relevant to the CPG space.
· Willingness and ability to present yourself as part of the Licursi Group team.
· Able to leverage social media to augment and amplify media relations program. Broad-based business acumen and ability to quickly grasp our client’s business strategy and media needs.
· Able to partner with and influence all levels of the organization through relationship building and executive-level presence.
· Demonstrated ability to provide strategic support and counsel.
· Exceptionally detail oriented yet equally flexible and agile. Comfortable with ambiguity.
· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
· Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
· Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet integrate and collaborate with both internal Licursi Group leaders and clients.

Working Hours
This is a remote position that may require occasional work outside of traditional business hours, most often occurring in the weeks prior to major events.
