Our Bankers are a critical component of our success, as they represent our Brand in our Community.  What sets our Bankers apart from others is the value we bring in consulting to our clients on their individual financial objectives. Across our 10 banking offices in Hillsborough and Pinellas county, our Middle Market Relationship Managers bring solutions-oriented client perspective, embrace accountability for their own goals, and they create value for our clients during each interaction.  Our Middle Market Relationship Managers are highly regarded bankers, comfortable with the role and image of a sales professional and has expert knowledge in all banking services including credit, treasury services, and depository services. Partners internally with Wealth and Personal Financial Services divisions to maximize relationship opportunities.

Program/ Position Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expert ability to deliver value to clients by personally generating profitable banking business. The scope includes increasing net interest margin, deposit and credit pricing, non-interest income generation in new and existing relationships contributing to overall bank goals.
  • Proven ability to consult to clients and prospective clients making recommendations and referrals for appropriate bank services.
  • Able to attend to the needs of clients seeking predominately large personal and business related services, including expertise in making credit recommendations to a superior officer.
  • Demonstrated experience translating external market conditions and trends to drive profitability and growth of the portfolio, while enhancing The Bank of Tampa brand value.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively participate in the community banking efforts by identifying and developing strong referral relationships and actively participating in civic, professional and non-profit organizations.
  • Ability to communicate with impact and enthusiasm in formal and informal settings. Effective across varying   audiences such as corporate leadership, internal committees, and all partners across the organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to maintain credit quality of loan portfolios.

 

 Minimum Requirements Necessary:

  • 5 – 7 years of proven experience in managing commercial relationships with a portfolio of clients  25-150 MM in annual revenue.
  • Must have experience with capital markets derivative products
  • Hold one civic or philanthropic board position.
