Job Description
SetPoint Consultants is a national recruitment firm specializing in the Title, Mortgage, Escrow, Banking, Legal industries and Customer Service industry. We have a client in the St. Petersburg market that is looking for several experienced Mortgage Loan Setup candidates to join their team.
Salary range is $15.00-$19.00/hr. and will depend on experience. Management candidates also encouraged to apply.
Mortgage Loan Setup Associate:
Candidate will be responsible for providing quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation for processing a loan file, ordering third party documentation; communicating directly with the team regarding missing documentation; providing proper disclosures as required by regulations.
Candidate will setup loan package in proper order for the processing team by following checklists; including, but not limited to, assigning the loan in appropriate log, print necessary items/checklists, prepare ticket for collected application fee, stacking the file, entering required information into loan system. Candidate will then complete loan checklist for audit by managers.
Candidate will be regularly communicating with managers, title company and other clients in writing and/or by telephone in order to obtain initial and missing documentation. Candidate will also communicate with various companies to obtain preliminary property surveys, flood certificates, title commitments and other payoff information.

Job Requirements
2 plus years of working with a bank or mortgage company
High School Diploma
General knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations.
Familiarity of government loan documentation and loan documents.
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
Superior communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to pass thorough background check.
