Mortgage Processor
Our law firm is in an immediate need of a senior loss mitigation processor for our settlement and mortgage litigation division. Case load will be in the field of foreclosure defense and default management services. Our large client pipeline demands a person that is smart, dedicated, personable, detail oriented and highly organized. You must be able to multi-task and work in a high paced team environment.
Some daily duties will include: Calling lenders/servicers/banking institutions, keeping consistent contact with clients, scan and fax materials, working directly with our in-house attorneys, Realtors, and title company agents. Individuals applying for this position must have strong working knowledge of income underwriting, tax returns and assisting clients with the preparation of financial documents for submission to lenders and servicers.
There is a significant room for growth and advancement for the right individual. You will be exposed to foreclosure defense litigation and bankruptcy to broaden your knowledge.
Required Skills:
· Two years(minimum) experience in mortgage loans processing or origination
· Knowledge of government guidelines or MHA guidelines
· Knowledge of processing/underwriting procedures
· Knowledge of closing procedures and reading HUD’s
· Ability to manage and maintain a heavy pipeline of 50 plus clients
· Strong written and verbal communication skills are a MUST
· Self-motivated, highly organized, and strong attention to detail
· Flexibility to work extended hours during heavy workload periods
· Excellent customer service soft skill set in a team environment
· Excelled computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft products.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple competing tasks
· Conflict resolution and deadline oriented
*Candidates who are bilingual and or have experience in loss mitigation, postponing sale dates, real estate and bilingual are a plus.
