Position Summary:
Answers, screens, routes and announces incoming telephone calls; takes detailed, legible and accurate messages for Division. Greets and announces office visitors. Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks for all departments.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives, tactfully screens, routes and announces all calls taking detailed and accurate messages. Retrieves and distributes after hours phone messages from voice mail.
- Pleasantly greets and announces all visitors, with the utmost professionalism.
- Maintains clean appearance of reception area.
- Sorts and routes daily mail and incoming overnight carrier shipments.
- Provides administrative assistance to other departments in division.
- Revises and updates employee and office phone lists, monthly.
- Logs underwriting files.
- Maintains conference room schedule.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Some office and computer experience preferred
- Professional appearance
- Pleasant and outgoing personality
Contacts:
Regular interaction with homebuilding sales associates, prospective home buyers, lender representatives and underwriters, escrow and title personnel, credit bureaus and appraisers. Also deals with homebuilding division management as well as mortgage division staff.
Additional Requirements:
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, fax machine, copier, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry materials and supplies weighing 20 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
