Position Summary:
As the National Real Estate Agent Recruiter you are responsible for cultivating qualified candidates and conducting full-cycle agent recruitment. This role pro-actively and creatively builds relationships through various means in order to connect qualified candidates to the organization. As the liaison between agent candidates and the Company, you are tasked with showcasing the culture and the opportunity to be a part of our team to effectively grow the agent base.
You will be a collaborator, partner, driver, and relationship creator with external candidates and internal leaders, alike. The position works closely with the EVP Real Estate Services and is expected to apply HR Recruiting knowledge and expertise to carry out responsibilities effectively. In this role you will report to the Vice President, Human Resources or his/her designee.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Candidate Cultivation
· Pro-actively connect with and cultivate candidates through various means including, but not limited to, industry groups and associations, social media, in-person networking, and cold calling
· Effectively communicate the value proposition of the Company to potential candidates
· Collaborate directly with the EVP Real Estate Services or his/her designee to understand the requirements and qualifications of the ideal candidate in order to source efficiently and effectively
· Post all approved, open positions and maintain job postings from open to fill
· Review, monitor and screen candidates to assess company fit
· Maintain processes and communicate Associate Referral Bonus Program to enhance lead generation
· Send No Interest Letters/Emails (NILs) to non-selected/unqualified candidates on a timely basis
· Partner with Market Director and/or EVP Real Estate Services to review candidates, interview, and make hiring decisions
· Prepare the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and related paperwork, in combination with EVP Real Estate Services and HR
· Make verbal and written offers to selected candidates
· Ensure each candidate has a Reference Check completed per the internal practice
General Recruiting Administration
· Develop and deliver against established hiring goals
· Update hiring metrics and produce reports for quarterly status updates
· Prepare Ad Hoc reporting as requested or required
· Develop and continuously update best practices for recruiting
Skills and Abilities:
- Engaging interpersonal skills with advanced customer service orientation including effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly functioning, multi-task oriented while not losing sight of details
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Independent and self-motivated
- Working knowledge of real estate and social media sites to promote the brand and uncover prospective candidates
- Ability to maintain and handle confidential information within appropriate standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience:
- 5 years prior experience recruiting in a high-volume, fast paced work environment
- Prior experience recruiting in a commercial real estate environment preferred
- Real estate license preferred
- Bachelors in Marketing, Business, Human Resources, Communications, or equivalent experience preferred
Working environment and physical activities:
95% of duties are performed in a temperature controlled, fluorescent-lit office environment. Approximately 15% of time is spent walking or standing and 85% of the time is spent sitting. About 50% of time is spent working with a computer and 75% of time is spent on the phone or in social settings. 25% of the workday is spent working with leadership and associates. 75% of the workday is spent working with outside candidates and sources. Others impose 85% of deadlines. Occasional lifting between 0 –10 lbs.
