Job Description
PwC’s US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm’s financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics related to portfolio performance, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements and the overall business portfolio. Finance also works closely with the Network on portfolio management and investment decisions and has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, assisting with all integration and separation matters likely to arise.

The Real Estate Department provides a comprehensive suite of services to its internal customers including: real estate financial analysis and reporting; budgeting and forecasting; site selection and delivery of space all while controlling costs. This organization’s operations are housed in Tampa focused on helping Line of Service Leaders, Market Leaders, Sector Leaders and their partners and managers deliver the Unique Client Experience. The Capital Projects Team (CPT) manages the Firm’s National Real Estate capital projects finance operations from project initiation through close out for domestic and certain international projects ensuring compliance to the Firm’s finance policies and procedures and mitigating risk. The CPT monitors project budgets and verifies accounting coding for correct asset classification and provides analysis and reporting. The CPT ensures adherence to project supplier financial contractual terms and conditions. The CPT works closely with Controller Operations, in particular the Fixed Assets Accounting team and the Partnership Tax team as well as Procurement in managing this work.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Real estate capital projects finance processes, procedures and systems;
  • Fixed assets accounting and/or occupancy reporting;
  • GFS, in particular, fixed assets module;
  • ProLease capital projects module or similar real estate application / workflow tool;
  • Microsoft Suite (Excel in particular) and Google Suite and other reporting tools;
  • Supplier implementation / onboarding and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
  • Real estate supplier contracts and applying compliance criteria;
  • Finance processing for cross border transactions;
  • Customer relations management, supplier relationships and problem/ issue resolution;
  • Real estate workflow application support and finance operations for the National Real Estate (NRE) team; and,
  • Internal control principles in order to effectively develop processes.

Skills Preferred:

  • Providing real estate capital projects finance operations subject matter support to cross functional teams;
  • Collaborating with NRE team and leadership to deliver a consistent and comprehensive capital projects process;
  • Developing new business processes to support a dynamic project delivery model;
  • Documenting new and current business process workflows and standard operating procedures;
  • Developing training materials and supplier documentation support;
  • Delivering supplier onboarding and training sessions;
  • Managing NRE finance systems administration and protocols;
  • Identifying and documenting systems requirements, enhancements and performing user acceptance testing;
  • Establishing and navigating relationships with suppliers and multiple external consultants;
  • Implementing management and reporting strategies;
  • Supervising and providing technical support to Staff on supplier contract pricing and payment compliance;
  • Administering supplier payments in accordance with contracts including General Construction Pay Applications;
  • Managing tenant improvement allowance applications in accordance with leases and tax requirements;
  • Overseeing the capital furniture lease funding process;
  • Establishing and administering inter-territory billing for international projects;
  • Driving the capital projects close-out process;
  • Evaluating supplier KPIs and providing management fee adjustment recommendations;
  • Performing supplier and capital spend analysis and other reporting as requested; and,
  • Managing and prioritizing projects/time-frames while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
