Full Job Description
This is a part time position
Job duties include:
Performing an aesthetic and client expectation review on newly built homes shortly before customer walk through
Looking at homes from a customer’s perspective in order to identify defects in workmanship, quality, completeness, consistency and professionalism.
Driving to residential construction sites and conducting quality reviews on day scheduled during normal business hours.
Reviews take on average 1 to 1.5 hours to complete
Results must be entered online while on job site using hardware provided by reviewer.
Training will be provided on how to enter a Quality Inspection Report in the report database.
Required equipment –
Tablet (Android or Apple)
Blue tape
Hard hat
A hard hat is required on the job site.
Must have experience working with the device and familiar on how to solve minor technical issues that could occur while out in the field.
Access to email is required while out in the field either though tablet or phone
Work may be started anytime during the day between 8 am to 3:30 pm.
Review is meant to evaluate the QUALITY OF FINISHED CONSTRUCTION
Analysts are NOT REQUIRED to go on roofs or in attics.
No tools or ladders are used in the review.
Residential Construction Experience is required.
Preferred background experience –
General Contractor/Superintendent/Project Manager
Familiar with a punch list writing
Home Renovation or Remodeling
Familiar with warranty walk through with homeowner
Ideal candidates will be:
Detail oriented – able to be thorough and consistent
Reliable – work MUST be completed on day scheduled by builder client
Principled – able to work unsupervised while providing thoroughness and consistency in each home
Able to connect to the internet via wifi
Able to drive to sites around the area.
Management will group work orders whenever possible minimizing drive time between stops.
Part Time Position, potentially full time during busy seasons.
Compensation: varies depending on work performed and is paid per inspection completed. Ranges from $75-$85 per inspection. There is a $10/house raise when introductory period ends and reports no longer need to be reviewed by other 2M personnel.
