David Weekley Homes is seeking a full-time Sales Host/Assistant to join our Tampa division

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assist sales representatives with all administrative aspects of the sales office including, but not limited to, answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, maintaining collateral material, ordering office supplies, and filing
  • Ensure that sufficient collateral material for the upcoming week is prepared and available
  • Open all model homes and sales centers by 9:45 am (or earlier depending on season) each day.
  • Assist sales consultants coordinating maintenance of sales center and opening/closing the sales center, model homes, Showcase Homes, and Amenity Center
  • Greet and engage every visitor in an effort to establish relationships and assists sales representatives to determine visitor needs and customer preferences, utilizing David Weekley Homes selling philosophy and training materials
  • Maintain appearance of Model Homes and Showcase Homes on a daily basis including-, filling refrigerator with beverages, sweeping welcome mats, sweeping mulch from walk & lanai when needed, replacing light bulbs, fluff pillows, touching up glass on windows, trash removed from baths every day etc- should be show quality every day
  • Record prospects via our registration process and VIP card
  • Provide information about the community, builder and homes, emphasizing key selling messages
  • Assists sales consultants to ensure visitors are accompanied through sales office and models
  • Complete home site reservations and take deposits if sales consultant isn’t available
  • Be knowledgeable in processes to aid customers and provide them with service, to refer them to proper warranty process, HOA needs and lifestyle needs
  • Assist in event planning & Realtor marketing.
  • Stay abreast of all community and product knowledge required to answer customer questions
  • Attend community and other meetings and assist with projects and events as required.
  • Display positive a personality and an engaging presentation at all times
  • Must maintain professional dress and attitude

Qualifications:

  • Current working knowledge of homebuilding and the residential real estate industry
  • Knowledge of sales programs, policies and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Real Estate License preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous new home sales experience preferred
  • Flexible schedule to allow for seasonal changes in hours
