Job Summary

This is an opportunity to work with a boutique, luxury golf club and resort company with properties nationwide. Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, FL is one of the most unique golf landscapes in the state of Florida, perhaps the entire southeastern United States. We are seeking a high-performing, motivated and driven individual to be the “face” of Black Diamond Development – the lead developer of new homes inside Black Diamond (operated by Escalante Golf).

We’re seeking an individual to be the main driving force behind significant change to our home building business at Black Diamond – we need to build and sell 8-10 houses a year. If you’re up for that kind of challenge, then this is the job for you. The 45 holes of Tom Fazio-designed golf at Black Diamond set the property apart from all its competitors in the marketplace. Your job will be to communicate and reveal that reality to an as-of-yet untapped audience (that you will tap), and then convert that audience into paying customers.

The expectation in this role is that you will make outbound cold calls and work the phone everyday. You will be expected to bring and develop your own contacts and work to convert those leads. In addition, you should be comfortable building, deploying, and iterating upon an automated inbound/outbound marketing system – automated email marketing, social media content production and scheduling, CRM management, etc. If you are not someone who can cultivate leads with digital marketing skills, and then work, advance, and close those leads with excellent phone and interpersonal skills, do not apply for this job.

A proven closing track record in home sales is a must.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage buyer experience from initial visit to design selections
  • Present Black Diamond Ranch and all amenities
  • Explain available lots
  • Discuss the buyers’ needs and present appropriate floor plans
  • Tour the community
  • Assist the buyer with option selections
  • Talks persuasively to influence buyers
  • Stimulates enthusiasm when providing information about the community to the prospective buyer
  • Set-up Realtor events

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as sales-oriented people skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Technically-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce; understanding or ability to learn website CMS; general understanding of HTML preferred
  • Must have social media platform expertise and experienced in its marketing uses
  • Experience using an email marketing platform such as MailChimp or Constant Contact
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle for on-site property tours
  • Proficient understanding of the residential real estate business in Florida
