The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) is a nonprofit providing essential services to the load-handling industry and has an opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team! Since 1995, NCCCO has developed effective performance testing standards for those working in and around load handling equipment, including cranes. NCCCO is the national leader in providing crane operator certification and has been deemed as an essential service. We are committed to quality, integrity, and fairness in testing and have issued certifications in all 50 states. NCCCO has offices in Murray, Utah, Fairfax, Virginia and Palm Harbor, Florida.


NCCCO has an immediate opening for an Office Administrator in our Palm Harbor, FL office.  


This position will be required to work in the office. NCCCO is committed to providing safe, clean, and appropriately low-density work environments. NCCCO complies with all CDC requirements and NCCCO’s offices follow best practices with respect to COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.


The Office Administrator position performs a wide range of activities to ensure the efficient operation of the Florida office in cohesion with the other two NCCCO offices. The position’s main duties and responsibilities entail administration and oversight of the office, supplies and organization, office budget, office vendor relationships, accounting support, office and meeting room management with calendar equipment responsibilities, and office security (alarm system/building management).  Serves as the trusted “go to” person for the FL office by management.


Primary Responsibilities:
The Office Administrator position will manage day to day office functions. The position will report directly to the NCCCO FL Location Leader.  Primary responsibilities also include: 


· Supervise Receptionist and ensure front desk and phone coverage
· Understand/support use of equipment in common areas
· Support HR functions in office (e.g., onboarding, timesheet, etc.)
· Greet and direct regular vendors, maintain those relationships and files
· Maintain relationships regarding access/alarm/surveillance
· Support issuance and termination of all keys, fobs, etc.
· Order and stock of office supplies; equipment & furniture; maintain asset inventory and related files
· Label and track computer assets in the office and keep asset inventory 
· Provide basic support to IT Help Desk (Florida needs), basic duties to support computer network
· Implement health and safety protocols
· Manage break/meeting room(s) policies, office events and parties 
· Other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

Preferred qualifications are: High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5years of relevant experience. Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational skills, excellent computer-based skills, e.g. experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Must have the ability to multi-task with an attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service and a great sense of professionalism in both attire and mindset. Previous office management experience is a must.
