Full Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible in supporting and assisting the housing manager in the operation, maintenance and safety of the physical facility.
- Assists in accepting applications for housing; conducting initial interviews; gathering information as appropriate to determine eligibility; explaining HUD rules and regulations.
- Assists in the leasing process by reviewing lease with new resident; collecting appropriate signatures; conducting move-in inspections; determining and collecting security deposit and rent; ensuring the resident’s permanent record/file is complete.
- Assists in maintaining on-site tenant files, ensuring consistency of information, signatures, dates and time frames; collects, posts, and deposits rents and notices; conducts initial recertification interviews with households, as outlined in HUD 4350.3 manual; gathers information and signatures as appropriate.
Qualifications: High school or GED graduate; or equivalent in work experience. Two years experience working in a customer service or human services environment.
