Job Title: Office Assistant

Job Description: Out of the Box Media Consultants, a media-buying firm, is looking for a PART TIME Office Assistant who will work closely with OTBMC team members to support them in a variety of functions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can jump from project to project and is comfortable multi-tasking. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Job Duties:

  • Open/sort mail
  • Sort all Media Invoices and manage invoice filing
  • Create/edit excel spreadsheets
  • Enter all insertion orders into monthly client calendars and maintain client calendars
  • Traffic entries in excel spreadsheet, maintain and keep current
  • Saving files on server
  • Data entry
  • General office duties: filing, organizing, scanning
  • MUST be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Accountability on all projects
  • End of week office tidy up/trash out of your office
  • Additional projects and duties TBD

Out of the Box will provide:

  • Hourly employ rate of $12 per hour for 90 Day Introductory period, bi-weekly.
  • Hours will be M, Tu, Th 9am-5pm (16-20hrs per week). Includes 30 Min. Lunch.
  • Desk, computer, general office supplies.
  • Performance evaluation at the end of 90 Days to decide on further employment.
  • In the event either party wishes to terminate employment minimum of a week’s notice.
  • Out of the Box offices will be closed: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. Hours can be made up on other days of the week.
