We are a full-service, small accounting firm in Clearwater specializing in working with companies across the country and abroad to help them manage their business in our vertical niche. Responsibilities
- Assist bookkeepers and accounting staff as needed
- Manage the office, process tax returns, manage the entire workflow of the office
- Assist with billing for both our office and clients
- Data entry of receipts, handling client requests and inquiries
- Manage the schedules of the staff
- Implement and integrate technologies to automate the accounting cycle
Non-Negotiable Qualifications
- QuickBooks Online proficiency and experience – we use this for 85% of our clients and the learning curve can be huge. We need someone who can jump in and already know how the system works, and how to manage the books of our clients. QuickBooks Desktop experience will not help you here.
- Multiple company management – procurement, A/P, A/R for multiple companies simultaneously. This might be public accounting, tax prep, property management, etc.
- Technology experience – remote access, integrated apps and systems, multiple platforms, adaptability to new systems, implementation of new technology. We are not looking for a technology user, we are looking for a technology leader.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting or business or student
- 2-4 years’ experience in a professional environment
- Extreme organizational skills
- Comfortable in a paperless environment
Specific qualities we seek
- Someone interested in growing with the firm and becoming an integral part of the team
- Someone with solid bookkeeping experience with the capacity to learn and grow
- Someone with solid QuickBooks Online experience. Our clients are mostly using QBO. We turn away clients that are determined to stay on Desktop unless they are local.
- Someone interested in learning new technologies. Computing is the C in ABC Solutions. We maximize technical solutions and are early adopters. We need people excited and able to keep up.
- Someone who can work with the team to solve a problem or work independently to help a client. Autonomy is encouraged here.
- Someone who has heard of Autotask or ConnectWise, or is at least willing to learn as much about them as possible to help our clients.
