The role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic part-time Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations of Miva’s office for 20 – 25 hours a week. If you are a quick learner, can communicate effectively with people of all levels of the organization, and want to assist in finding new and creative ways to maintain a positive company culture, then we want to talk to you!

You will:

  • Maintain day-to-day office administration; greeting visitors, answering phones, and handling miscellaneous issues as they arise
  • Responsible for the general upkeep and tidiness of the front office, kitchen, and supply rooms
  • Order and maintain office, snacks, and kitchen supplies
  • Organize team meetings and order team lunches
  • Collaborate with HR to assist in organizing company events that contribute to our awesome culture (monthly parties and games, donation drives, off-site team building events, etc.)
  • Assist HR with maintaining employee time card records
  • Distribute mail, packages, etc.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

You have:

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience working in an office environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Communicate effectively with varied team members and vendors via in-person, phone or email
  • Strong time management skills and able to work independently while remaining on task
  • Upbeat personality and positive attitude!
