Full Job Description
Imperial Asset Management is a real estate asset management company located in Tampa, FL. We purchase single family houses & condo’s, improve them, and hold them for long-term appreciation. We are also looking to fund short term loans to real estate flippers.
We expanded in to the Tampa market about 6 months ago, have about 5 people on board, and expect to have 10-15 million of assets within the next year
We are in need of a strong office manager that can work appx 20 hours per week. We would probably have you come in M and Weds full days and 4 hours on Friday- (or can come up with something that is flexible). You must have a lot of energy, have good critical thinking ability, and like a fast paced start up environment. For the right candidate, this can turn into a full time position very quickly.
You will Work closely with the VP of operations as his right hand person. You must be good at organization and setting up systems and processes.
Some of the areas you will be handling:
Working on helping with real estate acquisition escrows (handling paperwork with the lenders, and title Co) Signing purchase contracts, etc as operations manager for company.
Ordering property insurance on properties
Supporting the other team members as needed
overseeing contractors to insure work is getting done to get properties rent-ready.
inspecting properties as needed
collection and tracking of rents
light accounts payable
tracking accounts receivable (work with bookkeeper as needed)
HR- Helping to onboard new employees and prepare hiring paperwork
Filling out loan agreements for new lenders that come on board
Facility management
Helping to locate vendors as needed. Property managers, IT people, etc
Running ads as needed for various divisions.
Ideally, we would also like someone that thrives in a fast paced environment, is extremely organized, can help set up processes & systems, and can pass a background check to be a signor for the company.
Making sure LLC’s are in good standing
Sending LLC docs to title companies as we purchase properties and handle funding of the closings.
Creating flyers & working with printer/graphic artist as needed
Facility management- ordering supplies, etc
You must have reliable transportation and be computer saavy. Word, excel, Publisher
