JOB DESCRIPTION
INTRODUCTION:
The Operations Administrative Assistant position will provide administrative and clerical support to the Operations Department. This is a full time position 40 hours per week from Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The Operations Administrative Assistant is to support the daily functions of the department.
REQUIREMENT OF THE JOB:
The physical demands of the position are listed in accordance with the requirements of the ADA as:
1. Body Position:
Standing – 25% of the time
Walking – 25% of the time
Sitting – 50% of the time
2. Body Movements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
3. Senses: Vision – Close Vision and ability to Adjust Focus.
4. Hearing – Ability to hear enough to converse in person and on the phone
5. Mental Requirements: Fluency in the English Language (read, write, and speak)
6. Educational requirements: High School Graduate.
7. Technology: Microsoft Office Products, Window operation systems, office equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Performs administrative and clerical tasks.
- Assists with technical and operational discussions relating to data source integration.
- Assists with project communication and documentation regarding the status of projects.
- Performs documentation of client profile information in our master reference system and all associated client contacts for support matrix.
- Assists with documenting new feature and functions relating to system enhancements or modifications.
- Assists with overseeing and management of tasks related to project completion.
- Assists with customer account setup and applications.
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record-keeping Physical Demands and Work Environment.
- Must know Windows Office Suite: Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and Power Point.
- Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.

Working Conditions
- All staff members are allowed one 10-minute break in the morning and one 10-minutes break in the afternoon. This includes breaks for smoking. Since this position is full-time, lunch periods are unpaid. However, lunch may be taken unpaid by leaving the maintenance shop or remaining in the shop and eating.
- This position will work in an office setting.
- This position requires the Administrative Assistant to work at a desk and to stand while filing documents.
- If overtime is needed it will be approved by the supervisor.
