Our Asset Services group transforms assets into opportunities by providing measurable results in property management, leasing, tenant relations, project and construction management, technical services, risk management, purchasing, energy management and financial reporting.
Provides administrative support to a managed property/portfolio in addition to the Asset Services Market Leader for a small to mid-sized major market, city or strategic account.
Assists with budget preparation, reporting and preparation and control of records and reports.
Coordinates administrative tasks for programs, projects and/or processes specific to the Asset Services line of business.
Provides assistance in coordinating administrative paperwork and equipment set up of staff cubicles for new hires within the department/office.
Prepares routine correspondence, reports and presentation materials under management guidance.
Ensure that department procedures are consistent with systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of departmental records.
Performs other duties as assigned.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required plus a minimum of two years related experience.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
General Accounting and business analytics background preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations.
Requires basic analytical skills.
Refers to established policies and practices to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Focus on problem solving, mathematical analysis and project management. Knowledge of accounting and business law helpful.
Intermediate Microsoft Office software skills.
