Overview:

You will be leading and managing a flat operating structure. Field employees are broken into teams. Roughly 40 day time employees and 10 night employees work to provide landscape maintenance and related enhancement services, parking lot cleaning services (outdoor janitorial and sweeping) and various small facility maintenance/repair services.

You will report directly the the President. Collaboration is necessary with Account Executive(s) and the Sales Director for estimates and project management.

Objectives:

  • Hire, develop, hold accountable all field service employees.
  • Establish and maintain a sustainable safety program.
  • Establish and maintain a sustainable FNGLA integrated field training program.
  • Estimate all services and projects; establish development program for future estimating capabilities
  • Produce landscape designs; establish development program for future design capabilities
  • Manage Service Support Team (internal/external customer support)
  • Project manage all installation/enhancement services; establish development program for project management through Service Support team.
  • Source and manage subcontractors
  • Accountable for equipment inventory process and results
  • Accountable for fleet and equipment maintenance process and results
  • Develop and document operations processes

Requirements:

  • Florida Driver’s License
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related 6 years management experience
  • Estimating for landscape enhancements and irrigation renovations (5 years)
  • Central Florida landscape design capabilities, up to $75k project scope (5 years)
  • Irrigation maintenance, repair and troubleshooting (5 years)
  • Field staff sourcing/recruiting (3 years)
  • FNGLA Certified or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Employee coaching and development
