About the Job
We are seeking a Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys’ needs. Our law firm focuses on Veterans Disability Law, Probate, Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Personal Injury. Prior Probate and Estate Planning experience preferred. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish. Military veterans are highly encouraged to apply! Compensation will be commensurate with prior experience and education.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Gather information from potential clients and conduct intake interviews
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
- Manage attorney’s calendar
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Salary
16.00 – 20.00 /hour
