PARALEGAL FOR LEADING CORPORATE FINANCE, VENTURE CAPITAL AND M&A PRACTICE
Hill Ward Henderson seeks a corporate paralegal to take on front-line responsibility and play an integral role on its deal teams. We are looking for a motivated, hard-working leader to partner with our lawyers, serving sophisticated and recognized public and private companies as well as private equity and venture capital firms. We are offering highly-competitive compensation for this position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents and checklists for a diverse set of corporate transactions (under the supervision of attorneys).
- Assist with due diligence.
- Work with clients and opposing counsel in deal process.
- Assist with organizing entities, including formation certificates, tax forms, operating agreements and board resolutions.
- Assist with SEC reports and filings.
Job Related Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
- SEC filing experience and/or commercial lending experience preferred but not required.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills with ability to quickly prioritize to meet deadlines.
- Excellent research skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, including with clients.
- Highly organized self-starter able to work with little direction.
- Private law firm experience.
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and web-based applications.
