Small but very busy firm seeking a workers’ compensation paralegal. Qualified candidates must have at least five years workers’ compensation legal experience and knowledge of all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation to include cases and Appeals with the 1st DCA. Client Profiles experience and Spanish speaking a a plus.
Duties include talking to clients, calendaring; preparing letters, PFB’s, various pleadings/discovery, initial client meetings and general administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Candidates must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, take initiative and work with limited supervision. Must be able to handle a very fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and assist in the overall case management. Excellent typing, proofreading, grammar, follow up, and punctuality are all essential skills.
