Tampa Law Firm located in Hyde Park area seeks a Litigation Paralegal for a permanent position. This position handles the files from inception to settlement and/or trial. This position also handles the file entirely including both paralegal and legal assistant duties. Typical Duties for Paralegal – First Party Property Prepare all initial pleadings Prepare motions, orders, notices Propound and answer discovery Analyze, organize discovery documents Communicate with clients, insurance companies, opposing counsel and other parties Investigative research – using social media, regulatory sites Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations and trials Prepare attorney for hearings, depositions, mediations and trials Work with witnesses and experts Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits Other legal tasks associated with a matter Qualifications for Paralegal – First Party Property Experience in full litigation matters and life cycle of litigation matters Excellent organizational and communication skills Excellent computer skills Firm offers competitive salary, health insurance and other benefits including retirement plan, parking, generous PTO during first year of employment.
