POSITION OVERVIEW

Menke Financial is seeking a fast-paced, innovative team player to be an integral member of the Advisor’s team. The Financial Planning Associate will support the team and perform functions that enable the operational efficiency needed for the continued growth of the firm.

The ideal candidate will have an active interest in the financial services industry and desire for professional growth. This role requires a high degree of organizational capability, strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is an exciting opportunity as the role and accompanying responsibilities have the potential to evolve as the Advisor’s practice grows.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Case Preparation

· Responsible for ensuring that a complete and accurate plan is developed for every client aligned to the Wealth Management Advisor’s planning philosophy and best practices.

· Analyze client financial goals, current situation, and portfolio. Develop appropriate recommendations to meet client needs, risk profile, time horizon and preferences.

· Identify gaps and opportunities within a client’s financial plan and prepare insurance illustrations and investment proposals accordingly.

· Prepare Morningstar reports.

· Create Proposals and Investment Policy Statements for supported advisory programs.

· Gather information for advisor meetings with clients/prospects (ex. annual reports and marketing materials) and client reports.

· Prepare insurance proposals

· Prepare supporting presentation material using Microsoft software suite.

· Consult advisor on the presentation of the plan, investment cases and successful client presentation.

Planning Support

· Gather and prepare all materials for client review meetings: updated plan, investment summary, consolidated investment reports, in-force illustrations, CCVs, etc.

· Assist advisor by providing information to answer client questions.

· Collect necessary documents and information from prospective and existing clients

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Florida Life & Health License (2-15) or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment

· FINRA Series 6 License

· Series 63, or ability to obtain within 90 days

· 2+ years financial planning experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel

· Committed to professional development (e.g. CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· FINRA Series 7

· Financial services and/or insurance industry experience

· Prior Financial Advisor support experience

· CFP® preferred

· Experience with Morningstar, NetX360 and/or CRM client management software a plus
