Title: Bookkeeper

Reports To: Accounting Manager
Pay Rate: $18.00-$24.00
Expected Hours: 35-40 Weekly
General Description
We are seeking a skilled, onsite bookkeeper to join our team! Our ideal candidate has experience doing bookkeeping in an accounting office and is well versed in Quickbooks, the preparation of sales tax and payroll, including the knowledge to in prepare quarterly and year end payroll tax returns. Applicant must be a driven, focused, dynamic individual with 5+ years’ experience.
Qualifications
- Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management, organization, multitasking and self-accountability.
- Strong customer service skills to interact with prospects and clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills for staff communications and teamwork.
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop version, and Office 365.
Responsibilities
- Data entry of financial transactions for multiple clients.
- Prepares compiled financial statements including adjusting journal entries, trial balance and bank reconciliation.
- Process client payroll and sales tax.
- Provide office support.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
