Part-time Membership Coordinator

 

Starting date: June 2013

 

Qualifications: BS degree preferred. Aptitude and experience in non-profits, sales and customer relations.  Excellent time management and organzational skills. Team player.  Computer skills including MS Office Suite.  Familiarity with databases or contact management software is required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

Salary: Based upon experience.

 

Hours:  16-24 hours per week

 

Responsibilities: Recruit and maintain membership.  Deliver all membership benefits. Membership administration and reporting, including maintenance of membership database.

  • Contact each member by phone to thank them as they join or renew.
  • Keep accurate records of all membership donations and correspondence.
  • Write solicitation and thank you letters.
  • Write and manage membership drives via direct mail or email campaigns.
  • Create and maintain reciprocal/partner relationships.
  • Help develop and meet annual membership revenue goals.
  • Maintain a timely and efficient cycle of membership renewal reminders.
  • Work at community and outreach events to recruit new members and provide membership information.
  • Position requires outgoing, highly motivated individual.
  • Some evenings and weekends required.
