The position is entry level, not much work experience is required, and training will be provided.
There are no sales involved in this position
It would start in an office setting but we are willing to consider allowing someone to do most of their work from home, if they choose, once trust and competencies are established.
Part-time hours to start while training with the possibility to move to Full-time once trained. Looking for assistants that want to be part of a stable team. Most people that fill these roles typically stay for 1-5 years.
Position description/duties (one person need not do all):
– entering customers’ orders and notes into a web-based database/CRM program
– managing various tasks on social media, primarily Facebook
– sending out thank you cards and other follow up mailings to customers
– making courtesy phone calls to customers who have already purchased products from us to follow up and check in to see if they have any needs and update contact info
– various office tasks and errands
Skills sought:
– Friendly personality, pleasant phone voice
– Looking for someone that is detail oriented, organized, dependable, and honest
– Basic Computer skills — familiar with Excel and Google Calendar, on-line searching and facebook
Additional Requirments:
– Phone, computer, and transportation is a must
– Daytime hours to start with the possibility of much more flexibility once trained
– Possibility for performance based bonuses on pay
– Must be 18 years or older
