I am a solo practicing lawyer and also a licensed realtor. I manage real estate and handle trusts and probate matters before the court. My assistant would be working with me to lighten my work load both professionally and handling routine / mundane personal tasks as well (running errands, paying bills, booking travel). I have two offices and this person may have to report on occasion to the other office, however, their primary employment will be at the Pinellas Park, Florida office. Client communication will be an important part of this position. Familiarity with basic computer applications commonly used in small business would be important. Phone etiquette and strong written communication skills are equally important. The following would include common tasks:
I do not require prior law firm experience, but I do require a solid job history, strong work ethic, and an aptitude for quick learning with technological prowess. The ideal candidate is able to work autonomously, identifying needs prior to being asked, having confidence in the work environment and especially when communicating with clients. The position requires business casual attire, leaning toward business / professional attire. The ideal candidate would maintain a neat appearance at all times.
