Job description:
The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders, financial, risk and legal colleagues to identify requirements, manage demand, lead sourcing events (including RFPs), and negotiate pricing and commercial terms for IT Professional Services acquisitions and renewals. He/she will lead the complete sourcing life cycle from initial requirements identification to contract sign-off. Business Unit Description – Corporate Procurement Services ( “CPS”) is responsible for working with business managers and subject matter experts within CLIENT to define requirements, identify and mitigate vendor risks and procure all 3rd party IT and non-IT goods and services for CLIENT and its affiliates.
• Develop and direct the strategic sourcing process and act as the central point of contact to monitor and improve supplier performance
• Manage procurement activities associated with IT Professional Services support renewals and new IT Professional Services SoWs
• Document and report savings
• Provide external marketplace knowledge of the latest IT Professional Services dynamics, trends, benchmarks and best practices
• Evaluate and recommend sourcing opportunities to lower costs and reduce risk
• Define and lead RFP initiatives working with business owners and technology SMEs
• Promote excellence in sourcing processes across CLIENT
• Utilize consistent methodologies to pursue deliverables that are aligned with strategic objectives and policies
• Act as an interface between vendors and CLIENT for legal, vendor risk, privacy and technology risk as needed to ensure that IT Professional Services is sourced with an acceptable level of risk for CLIENT
• Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk
