Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator at Bayshore Solutions is the perfect opportunity for an individual with great customer skills, ability to multitask, willingness to learn new things and a high-level knowledge of website applications, the internet and all things digital (social, hosting, etc.) This position is entry level in project management and works directly with and under the direction of Senior Project Managers and includes a career path to advance.
Day-to-day responsibilities of the Project Coordinator role include requirements gathering and definition, project estimation, creation of project plans, facilitation of project meetings, status reporting, and resource management/deliverable management as related to individual projects. The Project Coordinator will collaborate other members of the delivery team which include Designers, Developers, Digital Marketers and the IT team.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Customer Service – Award winning customer service skills, ability to receive customer feedback and document for delivery team to execute, but to also proactively be thinking on behalf of the client and what is in their best interests.
- Project Delivery – Supports the management of projects throughout the project lifecycle including definition, estimating, planning, analysis and design, development, deployment and closure; communicates project milestones and actively measures project progress against milestones to ensure timely and successful completion; Ensures the project follows the proper planning and execution as outlined the project management methodology. Develops and maintains key project deliverables: project plans, scope documents, communication plans, status reports, and risk management plans; Acts as point of contact for clients while in the production process; Builds credibility and trust with the client to ensure project meets the client’s need; Performs quality assurance on project to ensure solutions meets requirements, functions properly and is free of bugs; Delivers weekly status reports and other required communication to ensure client is informed and aware of the project status; Works within the delivery team (most notable with the Senior Project Manager) to determine and prioritize project objectives critical success factors, and project risks; Assigns tasks and sets priorities in the completion of tasks and deliverable; Tracks and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Leadership, Innovation & Training – Provide delivery leadership and point of contact for client to assigned projects; Contributes to the intellectual property of the agency while balancing client deliverables; self directs training and research to consistently improve your own skillset and knowledge base.
- Administration – Record project time into project management software on daily basis; Meet scorecard expectations ensuring individual profitability and sales goals.
- Business Development/Estimation – Contributes to business development activities by assisting Senior Project Managers including brainstorming on solutions, creating proposals, and answering client/team questions regarding the proposed solution.
Education and/or Experience:
- Excellent communicator and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of digital solutions with proactive and strategic thinking
- Understanding of time management, task prioritization and organization processes
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms is preferred but not required
- Professional demeanor
- 0-3 years of experience in delivering web- based solutions
- 1-3 years of experience working in a team- based environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
