Full Job Description

Building materials manufacturer, distributor, and installer looking to hire a Project Coordinator.

Prefer commercial construction background but not required.

Project Coordination:

  • Responsible for being the key contact person during lifetime of Project
  • Issue, request and track all required Construction Project Documentation; such as Proposals, Letter of Intents, Subcontracts, Change Orders, Purchase Order, Drawings, Submittals, RFI’s, Lien Waivers, Certificates of Insurance, Close-out Documents, etc.
  • Obtaining prices for all supplies required to complete the works.
  • Schedule and track delivery of materials/supplies and equipment ensuring on-time delivery
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team
  • Analyze drawings, installation sequence and special conditions.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of all project-related administrative activities. Incorporate standardized procedures developed to create a consistent, uniform appearance for all Company documents.
  • Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Keep the complete control of project and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client satisfaction
  • Meet with the Installers to review details to the start of the job.
  • Visit project site during initial site preparation and construction as required
  • Report results and goals to General Manager

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong multitasking, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Must be detail oriented.
  • Efficient use of resources, systems, and tools to achieve objectives.
  • Articulate with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop information based on that data, and engage senior level executives with findings.
  • Inventory control and management.
  • Customer and vendor communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a desire for excellence.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bilingual preferred, but not required
  • Successful communication skills required
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Completes work in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
