LOCATION – OLDSMAR FL ON HILLSBOROUGH / PINELLAS COUNTY BORDER. OFF OF RACETRACK ROAD NEAR TAMPA BAY DOWNS RACETRACK / WESTCHASE / CITRUS PARK MALL
American Products, Inc. (API) manufactures architectural metal products from our facilities located in Oldsmar, FL. These products include Storefronts, Doors, Canopies, Awnings, and handrails etc. Just a few of our national chain customers include companies such as Chipotle, Outback, Lululemon, Panera, H&M, Old Navy, etc.
Our Project Coordinator / Project Manager will work with our internal teams such as drafters, estimators, production, sales and marketing as well as our clients from the beginning of a project through project completion. This position works out of the office and doesn’t require any work in the field. Excellent computer skills are absolutely required.
Our Project Coordinator / Project Manager must have previous experience coordinating / managing projects. Knowledge of the construction and or manufacturing field is a plus but is not required. You must have great customer service skills and be very organized. Prior experience with blueprints is a plus but not required. Again, excellent computer skills are required.
Project Coordinator / Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage project from receipt of Purchase Order through shipping.
- Extensive communication and follow up with clients to obtain key information such as dates, dimensions for products, etc.
- Completion of project paperwork (examples include but are not limited to material lists, quotes, order acknowledgements, shipping documents, work orders, bill of materials, etc.)
- Work with clients and internal teams to support all ongoing projects.
- Create regular project reports for clients and internal teams. This includes scheduling key activities.
- Handle logistics of getting materials to site
- Review and approve shop drawings. Prior experience with Autocad and or blueprints a plus but not required.
- Handle project close-out such as creating operation and maintenance manuals in a timely manner for submission to the client.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
