POSITION DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE AND POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing project specific administrative duties of the Real Estate Department including contractor and subcontractor communications and technical support
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Construction Manager and team members in the day-to-day operations of the Real Estate Department.
- Coordinates work of various contracts and sub-contracts as assigned, tracks documentation and evaluates contract issues such as pay applications, change orders, and closeout activities.
- Assists in coordinating and managing the efforts of contractors and consultants.
- Reviews progress payments and submits for approval and/or reimbursement.
- Reviews bid package documents for accuracy and follow-up with contractors/sub-contractors as necessary.
- Expedites resolution of Project problems.
- Prepares documents, letters, and reports as required by Construction Manager.
- Monitors compliance in documentation such as licensing and insurance.
- Completes monthly/quarterly/annual reporting to external agencies.
- Performs other responsibilities as necessary.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area and at least 3 years of relevant working experience in construction administration.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS/OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid State of Florida Driver License.
PROFICIENCIES:
- Computer fluency in the following applications: Microsoft Office 365, including, but not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
