McKinstry is looking to add a Project Coordinator to our growing Technicial Services division in Tampa  You will be joining an established and diverse team where you will be able to make an immediate impact. Project Coordination
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process along with tracking current and future jobs, reviewing contracts, drawings, and specifications. You will also be assisting with scheduling, assisting in the development of the scope of work with subcontractors, and assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reporting. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong sense of ownership and be technically sound.
Communication
As a Project Coordinator, you will be expected to communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners. You must possess the ability and confidence to interact with leaders within the industry. You will work closely with our project management team to solve problems and will gain hands-on experience in the field.
Documentation
This role will be tasked with creating and responding to requests for information (RFI). You will develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational
What we would like to see from you:
BA/BS degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
2+ years experience in the construction trade
Knowledge of construction concepts required
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates required
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite required, working knowledge of Salesforce, ViewPoint and Accubid preferred
