Florida Teel Specialty Builders is a family owned, fully licensed General Contractor specializing in high end residential construction and remodeling services throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. The owner is personally involved in the day-to-day operations and this role will report directly to the company owner. This position is designed for somebody who has construction experience and is eager to learn and grow into the management space. The individual in this role will be the project lead and will be responsible for administrative items such as scheduling, subcontractor coordination, QAQC, cooperation with the project manager in tracking costs, owner/client facing, crew supervision, and other overall project management responsibilities. This role will also be a hybrid role between hands on work and administrative responsibilities in that this individual will work with crews to install work while also managing the project. Projects will range from structural repairs/new builds to high end trimwork and custom carpentry. This role will either be managing one large project or multiple smaller projects. Career progression for this role will lead into an Operations Lead, in which the role will transition into a full project management role.

-Advanced technical knowledge of construction and building techniques
-Capable of working independently without supervision
-Effective communication skills and professional demeanor
-Capable of managing subordinates and coordinating with subcontractors
-Eager to learn and grow within the construction industry
-Capable of traveling to and from job sites around the Greater Tampa Bay Area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Saint Petersburg, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
