Responsibilities:
- Review client contracts for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in pre-construction meetings with estimating and field operations
- Monitor project progress/schedule to ensure compliance with contract schedule
- Create, in conjunction with the Project Supervision, a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Prepare monthly project cost forecasts
- Submit pricing for changes in the work scope and make necessary budget revisions to account for changes.
- Oversee all fiscal aspects of the project
- Ensure timely and accurate project close-out
- Interface with other departments (Design, Purchasing, Fabrication) to maintain clear communication and ensure proper flow of information and correspondence
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in commercial construction
- Mechanical experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, and in the use of scheduling and construction software, i.e., MS Project, Plan Grid, Bluebeam, etc.
- Understanding of Florida Mechanical and Plumbing Codes, as well as area standards/regulations preferred
