THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION
My client is a small established company that is focused on small/medium-sized commercial renovations and construction (particularly restaurants) with project values generally between $2k-$180k. They are looking for a project-based in and around Tampa to manage 10-20 projects at any one time with supervision on each site across Tampa across to Orlando and down to Naples. This would be a remote working role for the first year until they set up an office in the area. My client has offices in North Florida and has an exciting client base in the Southwest but is looking for somebody to help manage these projects who is local. This would give the candidate an opportunity to really grow with the business as once the opportunity is established the candidate’s role would grow.
The role of the Project Manager:
Managing between 10-20 projects at any one time.
Commercial construction and renovations particularly restaurants.
Project Values between $2k-$180k across from Tampa-Orland-Naples.
Liaising with clients and assisting the Estimating and preconstruction teams in pricing for jobs.
Managing client expectations and liaising with them.
Managing all Supervisors and ensuring their teams are productive and finishing projects on time and within budget.
Dealing with any subcontractors.
Managing subcontractor payments.
Managing any variations to contract.
Ensuring all health and safety is implemented and installed.
Make sure you have the right level of trades and subcontractors available for projects.
Other job roles will be required.
The Ideal Project Manager:
Will be used to and happy managing 10 -20 projects between $2k-$180k.
Have management experience in commercial construction/renovations particularly restaurants.
Be local to Tampa, FL
Be happy to be remote working.
Previous experience of liaising with Estimating and managing the full spectrum of construction.
Happy working for a small company.
Happy wearing many hats.
May have worked as a field Supervisor on multiple projects.
The Benefits of the Project Manager Role:
$70-75k Basic Salary
Bonus – Depending on the number of jobs completed.
