Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee and manage civil construction projects, including road widening, roundabouts, residential developments, sitework, concrete, earthwork, and utilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction and be reliable, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Procore experience is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day field operations to ensure project timelines, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and crews to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Oversee all phases of construction, including earthwork, utilities, and site development.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and company standards on-site.
- Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and progress updates with project stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to minimize delays and cost impacts.
- Maintain strong working relationships with project teams, clients, engineers, and inspectors.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, plans, and technical documents.
Essential Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in civil construction, particularly in sitework, roadwork, and residential development.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple aspects of a project.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is a plus.
- Must be reliable and able to work in a professional, no-drama environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
