Job Description
Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Successfully initiate, plan, execute and close all project deliverables to meet Client requirements
Ensure project definition documents are prepared and maintained
Create, publish & update project plans and schedules to accurately capture project requirements
Ensure the schedules of the various project constituencies involved are coordinated, and the multiple sub-project plans are consolidated into one master project schedule for project tracking
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project based on the project scope, schedule and budget requirements
Identification and resolution of issues between project team members (client, design firms, contractors, vendors, etc)
Coordinate project team meetings.
Prepare, publish and communicate project meeting minutes, including input into the designated project management systems as defined by Client or Cushman & Wakefield
Advise Client and C&W management on all perceived risks to the successful completion of the project, and obtain decisions and approval from Client on changes to project scope, design, schedule and cost
Coordinate and track dependencies for the successful completion of the project
Ensure that appropriate communication occurs regarding all user meetings and consultations with the project team, including Client.
Communicate regularly with internal and external
Clients as appropriate in order to ensure the delivery of high quality service and system support
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design or related discipline
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in project management or construction management on commercial real estate projects (core and shell, tenant improvements, building renovations, etc)
Certification in PE, AIA, LEED, or CMAA preferred
PMP certification or ability to pursue preferred
Ability to prepare and track overall project budgets and schedules
Experience leading and managing numerous facets of multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with architectural and engineering drawings as well as furniture and space planning concepts
Strong working knowledge of Project Management software (MS Project, Excel, WORD, PowerPoint)
Real estate industry knowledge and accounting/real estate software applications experience preferred
Demonstrated customer/vendor relationship building experience
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Willing/able to travel occasionally. A significant amount of position requirements are managed from our C&W office
Self-motivated and deadline driven
