Job Overview
Able to read and comprehend bid documents including but not limited to blueprints, finish schedules, maps, mockups, schematics and shop drawings. Must Be proficient in MS Excel and
Word. Previous construction experience required. Ability to perform take-offs, calculate values, and compile data needed to accurately create a job cost estimates and schedules.
Attention to detail, internally driven and able to work in self-directed, professional manner without constant supervision. This is a customer-facing position- professional behavior and
appearance must be maintained at all times. Florida Driver License and clean driving record required.
Job Responsibilities
1. Oversee, manager and direct construction projects of various sizes and scopes from beginning to end
2. Schedule and coordinate subcontractors to meet contractual performance conditions of performance
3. Prepare external and internal reports (Raken) relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, change orders, and deliverables
4. Responsible for material ordering, dumpsters, equipment rentals, site security and cleanliness
5. Review client and sub-contractor contract requirements, bid on projects, and assist in obtaining permits.
6. Communicate with the subcontractors to ensure quality construction exceeds EST standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized while ensuring the client
7. Review projects daily to ensure quality construction standards exist and projects remain within budget
8. Creation of project schedules with sub-contractors and clients and hold sub-contractors accountable for meeting or exceeding expectations
9. Responsible for expanding sub-contactor base and handing off new resources to Operations Administration for onboarding
10. Proactively identify changes in project scope to ensure appropriate measures are taken to mitigate impact to project schedule while capturing and recouping costs
11. Diligently capture additional project costs for out of scope items by following the Change Order process
12. Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction project from scheduling subcontractors to working with
engineers, building officials, and vendors
13. Perform other assigned tasks in support of the Director of Construction as required or requested
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
