Full Job Description
The Reconstruction Project Manager/Estimator position at FP Property Restoration is responsible for all day to day management of assigned repair projects in the defined territory. We repair homes and business that have been damaged by water damage, mold damage and fires. This includes meeting with homeowners, estimating the project, negotiating with insurance adjusters, scheduling and managing subcontractors, managing project budgets.
This position is an above average salary with a very aggressive commission structure to ensure the right candidate can achieve an income of $80,000-$100,000+ depending on your total managed projects. Our Project Managers/Estimators are required to manage no less than $1,890,000 in repairs per year. This is the minimum requirement and most far exceed this.

Set & Manage Budgets using Restoration Manager Software
Manage 25+ projects simultaneously using sub-contractors
Communicating with insurance carriers through XACTanalysis, email and phone
Recruiting and maintaining a talented subcontractor base that meets FP Restoration’s criteria
Meeting & Exceeding all Carrier and TPA guidelines and timelines
Meet homeowners, secure project work authorization and present schedule
Assist homeowners with selecting materials
Communicate with management and administrative office daily
Keeping updated notes and documentation on all projects in multiple systems

Education, Experience & Required Skills
5+ years’ experience in the disaster restoration or repair industry
3+ years’Xactimate estimating experience
Ability to multi-task
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced industry
Ability to work, schedule and manage sub-contractors
Very good with technology- we utilize 10+ software’s as well as Matterport
Familiar with Xactimate – ability to write & run is additional commission opportunities
Ability to update notes and photos in real-time
Ability to manage upwards of 10 techs a day including scheduling
Ability to take 50+ phone calls and respond to 50+ emails in a day
Understand, learn and utilize multiple technology platforms
Ability to Sell projects to customers
