Hillpointe is a vertically integrated general contractor with in-house capabilities spanning the entire project lifecycle. We are seeking a motivated, independent self-starter to provide project support for multifamily and mixed-use commercial developments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and track project material on-site deliveries and inventory. Assist with planning, and organization of material takeoffs, staging, and organization.
- Provide accurate daily reporting on labor counts and subcontractors on site.
- Assist in the scheduling of municipal inspections as directed and document results.
- Conduct pre-inspection site walk-throughs – use standardized checklists and punch lists as requested to identify potential issues.
- Manage project reporting to ensure pertinent issues are documented, including staffing reports as workforce counts, photos, and video documentation as needed.
- Monitor site security & public safety, BMP activity, housekeeping, and PPE.
- Conduct on-site Safety Training as requested.
- Complete safety checklist monthly.
- Provide help with the distribution of project plans, and documentation among construction team management, key vendors, design partners and property management as directed.
- Help with the permit application process as requested.
- Complete utility applications and requests for information.
- Help identify best practices and take ownership of project dependencies and resolution of risk issues.
- Coordinate construction logistics as directed (e.g., stakeholder directory, fuel tanks, fencing, construction warning signage, material staging, containers, portable toilets, roll off containers, security services, visitor logs).
- Assist in project close-out procedures including arranging archiving of hard copy files; close out/turnover documents; compliance with close-out checklists; coordination of lien searches; receipt of certificate of occupancy.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
- College-level work or equivalent work experience in coordination, inventory management and/or wood framed construction, multifamily construction preferred.
- Solid written, verbal communication and organizational skills to meet strict timelines.
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft desktop applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook.
- Eager to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under time sensitive circumstances.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
