Randall Interior Finishes is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work in the Tampa Bay area.
The Project Managers primary role is to manage multiple customers projects within a designated geographic area.  Communicating with their customers and his RIF team.  Project managers would utilize their industry knowledge to ensure top quality customer satisfaction beyond our customers’ expectations.  The primary responsibilities are but not limited to- weekly tracking of production units/projects, scheduling and confirming scheduling with our customers as well as our RIF team, unit pre/post walks, in some cases allocating specified installation team for installation, daily quality control installation inspections, ensuring completion of job in timely manner, commercial project daily logs, tool box and safety meetings, attend all customer required production meetings, when applicable schedule and coordinate material deliveries and customer service.  Our goal is to complete a seamless efficient process to ensure our customers’ expectations have been surpassed. 

Requirements

Project Manager responsibilities are as follows and are not limited to:

Project Assignment

  • Receive project and/or community information such as name, location, project size/how many units, customer contact information, detailed floor plans and scope of work.

Lot tracking

  • Weekly tracking reports for commercial and Residential Home builders are to be processed to the RIF Installation Manager and Order Analyst to ensure we are ordering materials in timely manner, updating schedule changes within the RFMS system and updating our installation team.
  • Tracking form data will consist of the following: the various phases of construction such as slab, exterior framing, roof, interior framing, mechanicals, insulation, drywall and painting, inputting the dates where applicable.
  • Tracking form will contain projected and/or confirmed installation dates for installation of our (RIF) scope of work.  Ie, wall tile, floor tile, carpet., wood, etc.

Pre-walk inspections

  • ·         Confirm Job readiness
    ·         Capture any substrate deficiencies which are not within our scope of work and/or not within industry standards.  Substrates with deficiencies shall be identified and marked.
    ·         Take pictures of any substrates which need to be corrected/fixed by others prior to start of our scope of work and have the pictures as part of pre-walk inspection results we forward to our team and customer.
    ·         Mark substrates with detailed information such as but not limited to material breakpoints, product information, installation scope of work such as install height, direction material to be installed, areas of installation, grout line width and fixture placement.
    ·         Pre walk forms are to be submitted to RIF Order Analyst- in order to attach information to order documents and to our customer in order to allow ample time to correct any deficiencies.

Quality Assurance Inspections

  • ·         Initial start date- meet installation team at unit/job, review material and installation scope of work with installation team.
    ·         Daily quality inspections to ensure installation team is complying with installation guidelines, quality and housekeeping expectations.
    ·         Daily inspections identify any material shortages and/overages.  If any, these shortages and or overages would be forwarded to the RIF estimating team for review and confirmation. 

Post- Walk inspection

  • ·         Quality inspection after installation is complete to capture any installation deficiencies.  If there is a punch list compiled, then the next process would to be create an RFMS order for punchout.
    ·         Post walk inspection form shall be submitted to RIF Order Analyst to attach to original RFMS order for the project and/or unit.
    ·         Notify installation team with findings of deficient workmanship which needs to be corrected

RFMS Punchout Order

  • ·         Identify installation deficiencies.
    ·         Create punchout order with the detail scope of work.
    ·         Put order on RFMS schedule.
    ·         Notify and secure installation team for the scheduled order.
    RFMS Order Completion
    ·         Notify RIF Installation Manager job is complete.
    ·         Complete the order in the RFMS Schedule Pro modular.

Add-on orders, Back charge/installer punchout orders.

  • ·         Project manager is responsibility is to create add-on and/or punch-out orders with detailed scope of work, materials needed for completion.
    ·         Project manager with the support of RIF Operations shall be responsible when applicable, tracking ordered material.
    ·         Project Manager shall ensure correct sub-contractor is assigned on the correct scheduled installation date for said order.
    ·         Project Manager shall complete order in RFMS system once physical inspection confirms completed.

Safety

  • ·         Follow all jobsite and OSHA regulated guidelines.
    ·         Daily inspections employee and RIF subcontractor PPE gear
    ·         Daily inspections hazardous conditions such as but not limited excavation trenches, overhead work (roofers, carpenters), interior overhead work, electrical exposure, etc.
    ·         Daily equipment inspections such as proper tool for task, frayed or un-grounded extension cords, proper guards on power tools.

The goal is for all employees and RIF sub-contractors to perform their tasks in a safe working environment with the correct tools and PPE gear to ensure they go home without injuries.

The Project Manager and/or Field manager Shall be involved in the morning dispatches with regards to accurate materials and quantities dispatched, support with expediting material dispatching, meeting installer and reviewing job details and scope of work.

The project manager shall pull a weekly or two-week schedule in order to identify the following:

  • ·         Schedule changes
    ·         Completed jobs.
    ·         Missing jobs that are not on schedule
    ·         Confirming scheduled jobs for the following week.
