Here’s where you come in:
Our Technical Services team is looking for a Project Manager in the Tampa area to focus on the following: Facilitating project initiation, planning, execution, and closeout. You will coordinate the efforts of McKinstry’s high – performing internal teams as well as external teams such as consultants and subcontractors to meet the contractual obligations of projects

We provide highly-valued professional services focused on optimizing energy-consuming systems, asset advisory, and construction-related consulting services. When we introduce why we work and what problems we are trying to solve, we can engage with our clients at a deeper level and move both parties onto the same side of the table to work on issues together.

You’re great at:
Project Initiation – Coordinate with  Account Executives, Project Lead, and Business Operations Analyst (BOA) to estimate, book, and initiate project in accounting and Resource Management Planning systems. Support the Project Lead with the set – up of the Project Life Cycle (PLC) and associated tasks and resources. Set up business sales-to-operations handoff and coordination. 
Project Planning  –  Work with Project Lead and team to define project goals and scope activities, secure resources, develop schedule, perform project setup and projections in accounting and Resource Management Planning systems;  schedule kick-off meetings and recurring project meetings, develop communication plan, assist with project risk analysis.  
Project Execution  –  Support Project Lead to manage project goals,  schedule, milestones and  deliverables (including QA/QC), ensure project delivery is on time and on budget; manage subcontracts, coordinate with BOA to ensure billings are sent and paid in a timely manner; update financials and projections monthly; assist with scope changes and change orders as needed. Provide financial reporting and updates to BOA and management, track and prepare  project team for client surveys and capture and incorporate relevant feedback.  
Project Closeout  – Ensure all scope items were delivered, closeout meeting occurred, connect with BOA on final billing sent and paid and subcontract closeout. Assist Program Manager/ Account Manager / Project Director in conducting  and incorporating lessons learned after project closeout.
