Sales Assistant/Project Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This person should be a self-starter with strong technical abilities and related construction experience. He/she will be responsible for assisting the sales rep in a number of related functions. Must have strong work ethic, be independent and trustworthy and physically able to climb ladders and work a construction site. Qualifications include: flexible hours, computer experience, reliable transportation and strong communication skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The basic responsibility of a Garland assistant/project inspector includes, but is not limited to; inspections of roof installations in progress, inspection photo reports, creating reports with custom software RAMP (roof asset management program), and assisting sales rep with trade shows and seminar opportunities.
Additionally, applicant must:
Develop a strong roofing knowledge/ skill base
Help maintain good business practices/processes
Maintain records, information flow & administrative details
Help manage marketing efforts
Provide customer service as necessary
Conform to all company related policies and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Trade/Technical College Degree Preferred
Experience in the Construction Industry a Plus
Strong Computer Skills
Very Organized and Detail-Oriented
Strong Communication Skills
